Does Songkrate work with Screen Time?

Yes! Songkrate is designed to work alongside Screen Time. There are a few quick settings to configure on your kid's device. See our Screen Time setup guide for step-by-step instructions.

Do I need a separate Apple Music subscription?

No. Songkrate uses the Apple Music subscription you already have. If your kid has their own device, an Apple Music Family plan lets everyone in the household have their own Apple ID with full access.

What happens if I remove a song from my kid's library?

It disappears everywhere — from their library, playlists, and loved songs. If they were playing it, the next song starts automatically. No loose ends.

Can multiple parents manage the same library?

Yes. Invite another parent or guardian from Settings. They'll get full access to manage profiles and curate music. Up to 5 family members total.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new account gets a free trial — no credit card required. You'll only be asked to subscribe when the trial ends.

Does it work on iPad?

Yes. Songkrate runs on both iPhone and iPad. The kid's music player adapts to the bigger screen.
